これは、にほんの　むかしの　おはなしです。イザナギは、にほんの　くにを　うんだ　かみ。そのはないきから　うまれた　スサノオは　かぜの　かみ。きみじかで、あらしのように　あばれるから、かみの　くに、タカマガハラでは、　スサノオを　ちじょうの　くにに　おいはらった。

This is a story of the old days in Japan. Izanagi is the god who created Japan. Susanoo, who was born from the breath of Izanagi, was the god of wind. Because Susanoo had a short temper, and was violent as a storm, the god of the country, Takamagahara, drove Susanoo away to our world.

スサノオが　おりてきたのは、イズモのくに。かわぎしに　たっていると、かわかみから　めしを　くう　はしが　ながれてきた。かわかみに　ひとがいるとおもって、かわづたいに　のぼってみた。

Susanoo came down to the country of Izumo. When he stood on the shoreline from upstream, eating chopsticks flowed down. He thought there was a person upstream, so he tried to go up.
